PPC Summits are designed to help you and the people at your firm become the savvy search engine advertisers you know you must be in order to maximize your pay per click opportunities, out perform your competitors, and build your business. These Summits are designed for people who are active learners and want to know EVERYTHING about pay per click marketing.
We anticipate attendees from search engines, agencies, SEM's, small and large marketing firms, retailers, service providers, webmasters, lead generators, affiliates etc.
What is the dress code for PPC Summits?Business casual dress is appropriate for all Summit activities. Temperature in hotel meeting rooms can vary and air conditioning can be erratic. We suggest you dress in layers so you can be comfortable both at the sessions and during breaks and lunches.
What is the Cancellation Policy?Cancel up to 7 business days before the seminar and your registration will be refunded less a $100/£100 enrollment charge. After that date refunds are not available but you may send another designated person in your place. Please note that if you cancel and don't attend you are still responsible for payment.
If for reasons of Force Majuere the event cannot take place as scheduled the Organizer reserves the right to reschedule the event to a date and place of its choosing.
How do I get the Sponsor Discount?To receive the Sponsor discount you need to enter the promo code provided to you by the Sponsor (in their invitation email) into the code field and also enter your account number for the particular Sponsor into the Number field in the registration system. The appropriate discount will be applied at checkout.
Do I have to be a Pay Per Click Advertiser to attend?These events are designed for those who wish to learn more about Pay Per Click advertising. It will be helpful to have worked with a pay per click search engine account in order to get the most benefit from the sessions, but you can also use the PPC Summits as primer on Pay Per Click if you have a familiarity with Direct Marketing as many similar principles apply. Please study the conference agenda carefully to ensure you choose sessions to attend that are appropriate to your level of knowledge.
Can I just attend one day of the Summit?You can choose to attend one or both days, but you will only receive the Summit manual for the day(s) you have registered to attend. Because of the price breaks offered the 2 day registration pass is designed to provide the best value.
Can I get the group discount if I bring my spouse or partner?Absolutely. Just sign up your spouse or partner at the same time you register, using your Company name and they will be able to take advantage of the group discount on the two day registration.
Are meals covered as part of my registration?Many of your meals are included in your conference registration fee. Continental breakfast will be served each morning from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Lunch is provided each day as well as refreshment breaks (morning and afternoon). If you have special dietary needs (Vegetarian, Kosher etc.), please indicate this with your meeting registration. At least one networking reception will also be included.
What payment methods are available?You may register for the PPC Summits using the secure checkout page in our registration system. The registration system accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
You may also use the registration system to generate a purchase order and pay by corporate check.
PLEASE NOTE: All payments must be made on or before the first day of the Summit. If you intend to pay by purchase order, it must be authorized by the conference organizers in advance and payment must be received prior to the early bird registration deadline. Attendee substitutions are permitted without charge.
How do I qualify for early bird pricing?To qualify for early bird pricing you must register and pay for your ticket by midnight Pacific Standard Time on the deadline for early bird registration.
Payments by corporate check in relation to a purchase order must also be received prior to the early bird registration deadline or your registration will be cancelled.
What do I need to bring to the Summits?Useful things to bring to the Summit include your laptop, a sweater or jacket (to dress in layers) and plenty of business cards for networking. You do not need to bring anything to take notes as manuals (which will include complete content for the day's sessions) and pens will be provided.
Can I record the sessions using video, audio or digital camera?Sessions may not be taped or recorded without express written permission from the Summit organizers and any audio or video equipment will be confiscated.
How many people are expected to attend each Summit?Between 300 and 400 attendees are expected to attend each Summit. These numbers will vary based on meeting room availability at locations in each city. Registrations will be limited at each event to encourage learning opportunities and networking.
Should I wait to Register?We are limited on attendance by the room availability in many locations, and so we won't be able to accommodate many folks on a waiting list. If you wait to register, you are taking a huge chance that the event is going to be full. The cities may change every year so be sure to register before the early bird discount for the locale nearest you.
Previous Alteract Marketing workshops have sold out and we expect the PPC Summits to do so also. When we say its limited attendance and events sell out fast it is NOT a sales pitch, they do and we have had to turn attendees away who waited until the last minute to register. Don't let that be you!
Will you be extending the Early Bird discount rate?As soon as all tickets are sold at the early bird rate, tickets will only be available at full price. Early Bird registration deadlines are typically 30 days before the Summit start date.
Will you be providing any discounts on sleeping room accommodations?A limited amount of rooms has been reserved at Summit locations for PPC Summit attendees. You can see information about these rates/locations on the location page for each city. Discounted rates are only available by calling the number listed for the hotel on the location page and specifying that you are with the PPC Summit group.
Can I buy the manuals without attending the workshops?A limited number of past PPC Summit manuals are available for sale. The two day set sells for $299. DVDs are also available along with the manuals for $599. Contact registration@ppcsummit.com for more information or to purchase these valuable reference tools.
Do I have to pay for parking and accomodations?Parking and accomodations for the PPC Summits are the responsibility of the attendee. You will pay the costs for these items directly with the hotel or Summit venue. We have tried to choose venues for the PPC Summits where parking is reasonably priced, however in the larger cities this is not always possible as venues that are large enough to accommodate the Summits sometimes have limited parking.
